This is the world’s ten most dangerous airlines:
Skywest Airlines: The U.S. company has been involved in two crashes – one in 1987 and one in 1991. Both with fatal outcome.
Philippine Airlines: The Philippine airline has been implicated in several fatal accidents over the past 30 years. In total, 50 PA passengers lost their lives. The most recent accident was last year when an Airbus A320 skidded off the runway in Tacloban City. Three people were killed.
Thai Airways: Since the company was formed in 1960, Thai Airways has been implicated in several fatal accidents. The entire 428 people have died on the Thai Airways flight. A number of the accidents happened in the 90s.
Turkish Airlines: The sponsor of both Barcelona and Manchester United have been implicated in many accidents. Latest in 2009 killed nine people, including three pilots, when a 737 crashed.
Korean Air: The South Korean airline was involved in one of world history’s worst air accidents, when Russian fighter shot down a Boeing 747 in 1983. In 1999, was the last time someone died on a Korean Air plane.
Garuda: The Indonesian airline was until 2010 on the EU blacklist of airlines. This is partly related to an accident in 1997, when 324 people lost their lives.
Saudi Arabian Airlines: After Saudi Arabian Airlines was involved in a tragic accident in which 349 people died in 1996, the company has been high on the list of world’s deadliest airline.
Gol Transportes Aereos: GTA is Brazil’s first low cost company and was founded as late as 2001. Despite its short history, the company has been involved in several accidents. In 2006, collided flight 1907, a brand new Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with a business jet. The wreck was found in the Amazon. None of the 154 aboard survived.
China Airlines: China Airlines is one of the Asian airlines are most often involved in accidents. In 30 years, the CA 755 passengers lost their lives. The last accident was in 2002, when 225 people died after a jumbo jet crashed into the sea.
TAM Linhas Aereas: Brazil’s largest airline is the airline in the world with highest number of accidents per kilometer flown. The last accident was in 2007 when an Airbus crashed into an office building in Sao Paulo. 187 passengers and 12 on ground killed. Other TAM-fatal accidents were in 1979, 1984, 1986, 1990, 1996 and 1997.

The safest
The following ten companies are the ten safest to fly with:
Transaero Airlines: The Russian airline is the tenth safest airline in the world, according Jacdec.
Emirates: The Arab airline is considered to be the ninth-safest airline in the world. The company has nevertheless been implicated in at least six dramatic situations – all without a fatal outcome.

Loss Portugal: The company is considered to be the world’s fourth most secure airlines, measured in fatalities per flown mile.
Air New Zealand company has been involved in fatal accidents by companies that operate ANZ router. Besides this, Air New Zealand has been involved in one fatal accident since 1979.
Finnair: Finnair has been flying with no accidents since 1963. Last year was one of its aircraft involved in a near-disaster, when he almost took the wrong road at the airport in Hong Kong.
Qantas Airways: The Australian airline was much in the media before Christmas as a result of a dramatic emergency landing.
In spite of this, Qantas crown with the title “world’s safest airlines.”
